Fotografie

Meist beginnt ein Text dieser Art damit, dass man auf die Kindheit zurückgreift und davon berichtet, wie man bereits Vaters Kamera voller Neugier in die Hände genommen hat.

Bei mir war's nicht anders, allerdings nahm ich seinen Fotoapparat bloss dafür zur Hand, um ihn von höchstmöglicher Stelle zu Boden zu werfen.

Auf diese Weise bin ich zur Fotografie gekommen.

In Kombination mit der Aussage meiner Grundschullehrerin,

«Marius zeigt kein Interesse an ausdauernden Arbeiten»,

sehe ich die Voraussetzungen für eine Tätigkeit als Fotograf als gegeben.

A text of this kind usually begins by going back to childhood and reporting on how curiously you took your father's camera in your hands. It was no different for me, although I only took his camera in my hands to throw it from the highest possible point on the ground. That's how I got into photography. ​ In combination with the statement of my elementary school teacher, «Marius shows no interest in persistent work», I see the conditions for working as a photographer as given.
